Good Morning! Are you feeling happy?
The new year has just begun and I’ve noticed some people are already experiencing feelings of disappointment and unhappiness.
Although the holidays are a lot of fun, they disrupt people’s routines. People often eat a lot of sugary, unhealthy food which lowers their energy and their immune system. It’s cold outside, cold/flu season and people may find it hard to get back in the “swing of things”. Also if people made New Years resolutions which they already feel they are failing at…it can lead to negative self talk and lowered self confidence.
If you’re experiencing any of these feelings/struggles…it’s okay. Be kind to yourself…allow yourself time to get readjusted to your routine. If you’ve begun a new habit and you miss a few days…no problem…just start again as soon as you can. Don’t beat yourself up.
Positive self talk and self care will refuel your energy levels. Remember how beautiful and amazing you truly are. You have gifts to share that are truly unique to you that no one else can offer.
As much as I love encouraging people to be productive and goal oriented…I also want you to slow down when you feel you need to.
The world needs you at your best and in order for that to happen you need to love yourself and recharge when required.
